Terms and conditions of the
Sukhothai Thai massage salon

Dear Guests! Please read the rules and regulations applicable at the Sukhothai Salon.

These rules and regulations set out the terms and conditions for using the services offered at the Sukhothai Massage Salon. Clients of the salon are required to read the Rules and Regulations before proceeding with the massage. Proceeding with the massage is tantamount to accepting the provisions of the Rules and Regulations. Each client is required to comply with its provisions from the moment they proceed with the massage. In the salon, you must follow the instructions of the staff.

Ignorance of the Terms and Conditions does not exempt you from complying with them.

The Terms and Conditions are available at www.tajskimasazkrakow.pl and can be viewed on site at the Salon.

I. GENERAL PROVISIONS:

1.1. The Sukhothai Massage Parlor is run by Suchada Zurek, a sole proprietor, at 21/4 Miodowa Street in Krakow. Tax ID: 6762412431, REGON: 380839917.

1.2. Massages performed at the Salon are carried out by persons with the appropriate qualifications, professional experience, and necessary skills. The Salon offers services aimed at improving well-being and physical condition. The Salon is not a medical facility within the meaning of the regulations in force in Poland, and its employees do not offer diagnostic services or health care services.

1.3. Any adult or minor with the consent of their parents or legal guardian may become a client of the Clinic. Massages are performed in the presence of a parent or legal guardian or after they have submitted a statement of consent to the massage.

1.4. Animals are not allowed on the premises of the Clinic, and the consumption of alcohol and smoking of tobacco products (including e-cigarettes) is prohibited.

II. APPOINTMENT REGISTRATION:

2.1. By booking an appointment, you accept these terms and conditions and acknowledge that you have read Appendix 1 to the Sukhothai Clinic Terms and Conditions, Contraindications for Massage.

2.2. Appointments must be booked in advance. Appointment times are arranged in person, by phone, or via the Booksy platform.
If you are unable to attend a previously booked appointment, you may reschedule your appointment, provided that the request is made at least 6 hours before the scheduled massage time.
2.2.1 When booking through the Booksy platform, the customer is also bound by the Booksy terms and conditions.

2.3. Booking an appointment is tantamount to agreeing to complete a questionnaire for massage applicants before the first appointment. Failure by the Customer to comply with the requirements of the Salon, providing false information in the questionnaire for massage applicants or during the interview, excludes the Salon staff from liability for the massage.

2.4. Appointments for massages covered by gift vouchers/vouchers or passes must be made and used in full before the expiry date of the voucher/pass.
2.4.1. When making a reservation, please inform us that the form of payment for the treatment will be a gift voucher/voucher or pass. If the reservation is not canceled at least 6 hours before the scheduled appointment by phone, e-mail, or in person, the gift certificate/pass will be considered redeemed.

2.5. Gift vouchers/vouchers and passes are issued with a validity period of 12 months from the date of purchase. This period is sufficient for the use of the purchased massages. After the expiry date of the gift voucher/voucher or pass, Sukhothai Massage Salon will not accept such vouchers/vouchers or passes.

2.6. Passes and gift vouchers/vouchers are not personalised and are non-refundable.

2.7. Passes and gift vouchers/vouchers purchased online must be printed out and presented before the massage.

2.8 Minors may only use the massage service with the written consent of their parents or legal guardians. Persons under the age of 16 may only use the massage service in the presence of a parent or legal guardian or after they have submitted a statement of consent to the massage.

III. CANCELLATION OF VISIT:

3.1. The client may reschedule or cancel a booked massage free of charge by phone or email up to 6 hours before the scheduled appointment.

3.2. In the event of a cold, flu, or other infection, please cancel your appointment as soon as possible due to the risk of infecting staff.

3.3. If the Customer cancels appointments more than 3 times and has never visited the Salon, the Salon reserves the right to refuse further appointments.

3.4. The Massage Salon allows a 5-minute delay for the Customer without any loss. Otherwise, the appointment time will be shortened accordingly to the length of the delay. The Customer is obliged to pay for the entire appointment. It is not possible to postpone an appointment by more than 5 minutes, as the Clinic must be properly disinfected, ventilated, and cleaned before the next person arrives.

IV. VISIT TO THE OFFICE:

4.1. The client is required to arrive 10 minutes before the appointed time in order to complete a questionnaire and familiarize themselves with information regarding contraindications to massage and to inform the staff of any circumstances that would prevent them from participating in the massage, as referred to in Appendix 1 to the Regulations of the Sukhothai Thai Massage Parlor.

4.2. The agreed time of the massage is the time of its commencement. In the waiting room, it is mandatory to change into disposable or disinfected footwear. Upon entering the Salon, the Customer is asked to immediately disinfect their hands with disinfectant liquid or wash their hands with antibacterial soap available in the bathroom.
The salon is not responsible for outerwear. The salon is not responsible for any items left in the salon, valuables, backpacks, handbags, etc. The customer should keep these items with them.

4.3. The Clinic’s staff is obliged to respect the privacy and intimacy of the Customer.

4.4. If the Customer feels discomfort or malaise during or after the massage, the Customer is obliged to immediately inform the person performing the massage and the person at the reception desk.

4.5. The Clinic staff reserves the right to refuse or interrupt a massage for a Customer who is under the influence of alcohol or intoxicants or who behaves inappropriately. In such a case, the massage will be charged as if it had taken place.

4.6. The staff of the Salon reserves the right to refuse or interrupt a massage if they encounter behavior inappropriate for the place where they are located (sexual propositions, aggression, etc.). In such cases, the police will be called and the fee for the massage will be charged as for a massage that took place.

4.7. Immediately after the massage is completed, the Customer undertakes to pay for the service provided (including for services not provided, in the cases described in these regulations). Forms of payment include: cash, payment card, gift card/voucher, or pass. In the case of a gift card/voucher or pass, the Customer is required to present it before the service begins. In the absence of a gift card/voucher or pass, the Customer is required to pay for the service provided (in cash or by card).

4.8. Customers of the Sukhothai Salon are liable for any damage to the Salon’s equipment, up to its full value. Parents or legal guardians are liable for damage caused by minors.

4.9. The Massage Salon has the right to terminate cooperation with a Customer and refuse to accept them at the Salon if they:
– Repeatedly make and cancel appointments.
– Repeatedly arrive more than 5 minutes late for appointments.
– The expiry date of the purchased gift card/voucher or pass has been exceeded.

V. COMPLAINTS:

5.1. The Massage Parlor reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, provided that such amendments do not infringe upon the rights acquired by the Customer during the term of the offer. Amendments to the Terms and Conditions shall be communicated to the Customer by posting them for review at the Parlor and on the website www.tajskimasazkrakow.pl

5.2. Any matters not covered by these Terms and Conditions shall be settled on the basis of the Civil Code.

5.3. Complaints and claims may only be submitted in writing to the address of the Office: ul. Miodowa 21/4 31-055 Kraków or by e-mail: www.tajskimasazkrakow.pl. Complaints will be considered in writing within 14 days.
5.3.1. Complaints do not include complications such as: pain lasting approximately 1-3 days after the massage, feeling unwell, bruising, allergies to cosmetic ingredients, skin redness, and allergies to oils.

The Regulations shall enter into force on January 1, 2023, and shall remain in force until further notice.
Appendix No. 1 to the Regulations of the Sukhothai Office

CONTRAINDICATIONS TO MASSAGE

In most cases, massage is a safe treatment. People who are affected by any of the situations listed below should not undergo massage.

  • Drinking alcohol before a massage is not recommended.
  • You should eat a meal at least an hour and a half before the massage.
  • all medical conditions accompanied by high body temperature (above 38°C), acute and subacute inflammation,
  • skin breaks, early stages after fractures, sprains, and dislocations,
    (In such cases, individual healthy joints can be massaged)
  • all types of dermatological changes,
  • scars, bruises, skin inflammation, varicose veins
    (In such cases, only healthy parts of the body may be massaged)
  • allergies to cosmetics used for massage,
  • bleeding or a tendency to bleed,
  • uncorrected heart defects, aneurysms, fresh blood clots, recent heart attack,
  • malignant and benign tumors,
  • post-traumatic effusions in joints and muscles (up to 3 days after injury)
  • phlebitis
  • osteomyelitis with fistulas,
  • core cavities,
  • the first trimester and the last month of pregnancy,
  • period of pregnancy with complications,
  • all cases requiring surgical intervention,
  • people who have undergone surgery. (Massage can be performed 12 months after surgery if it was serious and 6 months after minor surgery, provided that the scars have healed well).
  • peptic ulcer disease with bleeding,
  • liver and kidney stones.

  • Acute inflammation (pneumonia, bronchitis)
  • Infectious diseases
  • Neoplastic changes
  • Bronchial asthma during attacks
  • Rupture of a stomach ulcer and duodenal ulcer
  • Pancreatitis
  • Viral hepatitis
  • Inflammation of the gallbladder
  • Inflammation of the bile ducts
  • Appendicitis
  • Peritonitis
  • Parasitic diseases
  • Neoplastic changes
  • Changes threatening intestinal continuity
  • Condition after a heart attack
  • Advanced coronary artery atherosclerosis
  • Fresh inflammation of the valves and heart
  • Uncorrected heart defects
  • Angina pectoris during an attack
  • Hypertension
  • Peripheral vascular diseases
  • Vascular blemish
  • Advanced peripheral vascular atherosclerosis
  • Varicose veins with skin changes
  • Varicose veins location
  • Thrombophlebitis (6 months after inflammation)
  • Birger’s disease III°IV°
  • Reunalda III°IV disease
